Underfloor Heating
Underfloor heating is a simple and highly efficient way to warm any room, large or small. It delivers consistent heat, evenly distributed throughout the room eliminating cold spots and chilly floors.
Either without the need for radiators, you’ll enjoy clean, clutter-free walls and more usable space. The warmth rises gently from the floor, creating a more natural and comfortable environment.
Compatible with a wide range of floor finishes including carpet, tiles, vinyl, and wood, underfloor heating is low maintenance and built to last. Polypipe guarantees all components installed beneath the floor for 50 years.
Griffiths provide a free, no-obligation survey and quotation. We will assess your property to determine system suitability and design a solution tailored to your home and lifestyle.
Solid Floor Underfloor Heating
Built for Performance
Perfect for new builds or areas with new flooring, this system uses castellated trays to hold 18mm heating pipes, which are then covered with dry or liquid screed.
We use larger 18mm pipes spaced at 100mm to deliver faster heat-up times and a more even floor temperature, giving you comfort that’s efficient and consistent heat throughout the room.
Overlay Floor Underfloor Heating
Ideal for Retrofits
Installed over timber floors, with routed panels for heating pipes.
Choose lightweight panels for vinyl, carpet, or laminate; dense panels for tiles or hardwood.
Hard floors can go straight on top; carpet/vinyl will require 6mm plywood layer.
Spreader Plate System
Perfect for Suspended or First Floors
This system installs pressed aluminium plates between joists, with pipes nestled in grooves. Insulation below boosts upward heat, finished with standard chipboard flooring.
