As local residents to Burton Latimer, the family were instantly eligible for an interest free loan (up to £3,000) and grant (up to £1,000) from the Burton Wold Community Fund toward energy efficiency improvements in their home.

A solar array comprising of 14 No. JASolar 285Watt Monocrystalline panels, with a SMA 'sunny boy' inverter was installed to the property.
The system shall provide 3,706kWh's of electricity annually to their home, attracting £552 per year from the government's 'Feed-in-tariff' scheme, plus a further saving of £222 on their electricity bill.
The Webconnect feature of the SMA inverter allows Mr & Mrs D to monitor and record the performance of their solar array remotely via SMA's 'Sunny Portal' App.
